How we check hours

Pantry Hours is a free directory that helps people find food pantries and free meals near them, with hours, what to bring and whether a place is open today. We are an independent website. We are not a food bank and we don’t give out food ourselves.

Where our hours come from

• Harvest Hope Food Bank’s pantry finder. Harvest Hope lists the pantries it works with, and we take their hours from that list. Each listing says so.

This launch covers South Carolina listings from Harvest Hope Food Bank only. Other areas are coming later.

What we don’t do

• We don’t guess hours. If a pantry hasn’t said, we write “Not listed”.
• We don’t charge pantries to be listed.
• We don’t show ads right now.

Hours change

Pantries change hours for holidays, weather and when food runs low. Every listing shows the date we last checked it. Please call before you go, and tell us if something is wrong. We fix reported changes as fast as we can.
